Duke guard Isaiah Evans declared to the 2026 NBA draft on Wednesday, as the Blue Devils thanked him for his tenure at the school in a social media post.

He was projected to be selected with the No. 27 overall pick in the most recent mock draft from Bleacher Report's Jonathan Wasserman.

Evans already has experience playing with NBA talent, as he primarily spent his freshman season as a depth piece behind a Blue Devils starting lineup that had all five players selected in the 2025 draft.

This includes current Rookie of the Year finalists Cooper Flagg and Kon Knueppel.

Evans stepped into a starting spot for Duke during the 2025-26 season and thrived, averaging 15.0 points and 3.2 rebounds to go along with 1.3 assists per game. He shot 43.3 percent from the field and 36.1 percent from behind the arc.

Evans' defensive acumen and long-range shooting prowess should make him an intriguing prospect, as he ranked No. 5 among all ACC players by hitting 2.7 triples per game last season.

The 20-year-old particularly excelled during Duke's run to the Elite Eight of the 2026 NCAA tournament, averaging 16.3 points and 4.3 rebounds per game while shooting 49.0 percent on field goals across four March Madness contests.

The 2026 NBA draft starts on June 23 at 8 p.m. ET
