Damian Lillard Posts Cryptic Photo After Blazers' Win vs. Spurs in Game 2 Amid Achilles Injury Rehab
Portland Trail Blazers star Damian Lillard posted a cryptic photo of himself and Deni Avdija to his Instagram Story on Thursday with the caption, "Blazers in 6," sparking speculation as to whether he may return to the court this postseason.
Lillard's post comes after the Trail Blazers posted a cryptic video of the point guard getting some shots up following the team's 106-103 win over the San Antonio Spurs in Game 2 of the first round of the playoffs.

Lillard is currently recovering from a torn Achilles that he suffered in April 2025.
The nine-time All-Star previously revealed that he's targeting a return during the 2026-27 season, but was still able to compete and win the NBA's 3-Point Contest on Feb. 14.
Trail Blazers head coach Tiago Splitter didn't anticipate an early comeback for Lillard during the playoffs, though.
"I don't think so," Splitter said Friday when asked about Lillard returning, via BasketNews. "He's had his head on next season. We've got to be serious about it.
"Of course, we joke about it here and there, but he's got a plan and we're all going to follow that."
Portland will rely on its current backcourt as it attempts to upset San Antonio instead, headlined by Scoot Henderson.
Henderson has excelled against the Spurs in the playoffs, averaging 24.5 points, 2.0 rebounds and 1.5 assists per game on 64.3/53.8/75.0 shooting splits across two contests.
The Trail Blazers will look to take a 2-1 series lead over San Antonio in Game 3 on Friday at 10:30 p.m. ET.
