With the 2026 NBA draft looming, BYU's AJ Dybantsa has some "big news" to share with the world.

Dybantsa took to social media Wednesday and revealed he will share his news at 11:45 a.m. ET on Thursday:

The timing is particularly notable since the deadline to declare for the NBA draft is Friday at 11:59 p.m. ET. Given his status as a presumed top pick, it would be anything but surprising if that is Dybantsa's "big news" he is going to share.

Bleacher Report's Jonathan Wasserman projected the BYU star as the first pick in his latest mock draft, adding Dybantsa's case to be the No. 1 selection "has the fewest holes" when compared to Kansas' Darryn Peterson and Duke's Cameron Boozer.

NBA teams will surely be tuning in to see if Dybantsa takes the next step toward potentially becoming the top pick.
