A group led by Johnson and Mark Walter, chief executive officer of the financial services firm Guggenheim Partners, bought the Dodgers from Frank McCourt for $2 billion in March 2012.
The team is now valued at $9.05 billion, according to a March 18 report by Sportico's Kurt Badenhausen.
Los Angeles hasn't been afraid to spend big since the ownership change, as it led all MLB teams by spending a combined $515 million in payroll and luxury tax last year.
The Dodgers also rank No. 1 among all teams with a payroll of $397 million in 2026 (via FanGraphs).
Their spending has paid off, as they're currently attempting to become the first team to capture three consecutive World Series titles since the New York Yankees in 2000.
