CJ McCollum Trolls Knicks After Hawks' NBA Playoffs Game 2 Win, 'See You in the A'
Atlanta Hawks guard CJ McCollum took to social media following his team's come-from-behind road victory over the New York Knicks in Game 2 of their first-round playoff series on Monday night.
In a post on X, McCollum included photos from the game, along with the caption, "Cawwww cawwwww Seee ya in the A."
McCollum led the way for the Hawks in evening up the series, scoring a game-high 32 points on 12-of-22 shooting to go along with six assists, three rebounds and two steals.
Atlanta trailed by 12 entering the fourth quarter on Monday, and it was staring a 2-0 series deficit in the face.
However, McCollum rose to the occasion in the final frame, scoring six points in the final 2:08, including a go-ahead jumper with 33.5 seconds left.
McCollum, 34, arrived in Atlanta in January as part of the trade that sent Trae Young to the Washington Wizards.
While he has performed well as a member of the Hawks, Monday marked McCollum's signature game since arriving.
Thanks to McCollum's heroics, the underdog Hawks have essentially made it a five-game series the rest of the way, and they are headed back home for Games 3 and 4 on Thursday and Saturday.
