Jaylen Brown Ranks Steph Curry Among '5 Greatest' NBA Players of All-Time in New Video
Boston Celtics star Jaylen Brown called Golden State Warriors point guard Stephen Curry one of the "five greatest" NBA players of all time during a recent live stream.
Brown was watching highlights of the Warriors' 126-121 play-in tournament win over the Los Angeles Clippers on Wednesday. Curry scored 35 points, including a three-pointer that gave the Warriors a 120-117 in the fourth quarter to lead a tremendous 13-point comeback.
"That was tough, I ain't gonna lie," Brown said after watching the shot go down. "Steph Curry is one of the five greatest players to ever play this game at this point in this career. Y'all can say whatever y'all want, fill in the rest. Steph Curry is top five, bro. Just leadership, all of that. I'm not even trying to glaze. I promise y'all are not."
Curry, who landed 10th overall on Bleacher Report's list of the top-100 players all time before the season, is a 12-time All-Star, 11-time All-NBA selection, four-time NBA champion, two-time NBA MVP and one-time Olympic gold medalist. He's largely considered the best shooter the game has ever seen, and certainly the most influential.
He's got a fantastic resume, and Curry added to it Wednesday with an epic performance. That said, this season has been a tough one for Curry. He missed nearly three months with runner's knee, but he still averaged 26.6 points per game in 43 contests.
