LeBron James Rips Ron Harper After 5-Time NBA Champ's Comments About Lakers Star, Bronny

LeBron James apparently hasn't forgotten the jab Ron Harper Sr. made at his expense during All-Star weekend in February.

James brought up the five-time NBA champion when discussing Harper's son, San Antonio Spurs rookie Dylan Harper, around the 8:00 mark of Friday's Mind the Game podcast.

"Yeah, Dylan's great. I mean, his daddy ain't s--t, but he's good," James told Steve Nash. "I'll see him when I see him."

Ron Harper Sr. previously brought up James when reporters at All-Star weekend asked him if he had envisioned both Dylan and Ron Harper Jr. eventually making it to the NBA.

"I'm not LeBron James. I'm not going to tell my kids what they have to do," Harper answered. "I just want to play and enjoy the game and whatever they can get back out the ball game, we will take it."

James could mark a postseason career first this weekend as he prepares to potentially take the court alongside his eldest son, Bronny James.

"He earned it, he deserves it, and he'll be ready," James told reporters Thursday about his son's readiness for the playoffs, per ESPN's Dave McMenamin.

LeBron, Bronny and the Lakers are set to tip off the first round against the Houston Rockets at 8:30 p.m. ET on Saturday night in Los Angeles.
