Kawhi Leonard's New Balance Kawhi 5 Shoes Revealed in Photos Ahead of NBA Playoffs

Los Angeles Clippers star Kawhi Leonard's fifth signature shoe with New Balance was revealed on Wednesday.

Images of Leonard's Kawhi 5 model were released, as the shoes featured a premium and soft upper material for lockdown and comfort, a dual-density FuelCell midsole and a Y-Plate at the forefoot.

The shoes will launch in summer 2026, with the first colorway being accompanied by an apparel capsule that includes a lightweight warm-up jacket, tapered performance shorts and a breathable training tee. 

Leonard previously debuted the shoes during the 2026 NBA All-Star festivities.

The 34-year-old has been with New Balance since 2018.

Leonard is in the midst of an impressive 2025-26 campaign, earning his seventh All-Star nod. He's averaging a career-high 28.1 points to go along with 6.3 rebounds, 3.6 assists and 1.9 steals per game while shooting 50.6 percent from the field and 38.9 percent from three-point territory.
