LeBron James Trolled By Bucks in Post After Win vs. Grizzlies Following Lakers Star's Viral Comments
The Milwaukee Bucks referenced recent criticism of their city from LeBron James after a Sunday afternoon victory over the Memphis Grizzlies.
"Won the matchup between everyone's two favorite cities," the Bucks captioned the 131-115 final score.
The post came after James complained about traveling to away games in both Milwaukee and Memphis in Thursday's episode of the Bob Does Sports podcast.
"A random f--king Tuesday in Milwaukee staying at f--king Hyatt at 41 years old, you think I want to do that s--t?" James said around the 10:40 mark when asked if travel had worn on him as he aged. "Being in Memphis on a f--king random-ass Thursday?"
He continued, "I'm not the first guy to even talk about it in the NBA. Like, you guys have to move. Just go over to Nashville."
James doubled down on the comments when asked about his podcast appearance on Saturday.
"I'm 41 years old and there's two cities I do not like playing in right now, and that's Milwaukee and that's Memphis," James said Saturday. "What is the problem?"
James continued, "People are ridiculous... I'm not talking about the city, like the people in Memphis. I don't like staying at the Hyatt Centric, what's wrong with that?"
Both the Bucks and Grizzlies have been eliminated from postseason contention, while the Los Angeles Lakers have clinched a playoff spot.
James and the Lakers will now continue their fight for the No. 3 seed in the West without Luka Dončić, who will miss at least the rest of the regular season with a hamstring strain.
