The Los Angeles Lakers will be without both Luka Dončić and Austin Reaves for the remainder of the regular season, and likely a portion of the playoffs as well, as both recover from recent injuries.

It's a major blow for the Lakers, but Dwight Howard is ready to heed the call if the team is seeking reinforcements:

A 40-year-old center isn't exactly the ideal replacement for the skillsets that Dončić and Reaves possess, so the Lakers will likely pass on Howard's offer. But much like that sweater your great-aunt knit for you as a Christmas present, it's the thought that counts.

But the Lakers, also dealing with injuries to Marcus Smart and Jarred Vanderbilt, are certainly running low on depth.
