NBA Icon Allen Iverson Hypes Darius Acuff Jr. as 'The Next HIM' In IG Photo Amid March Madness Run

Arkansas star Darius Acuff Jr. has earned himself quite the prominent fan during this year's NCAA tournament.

NBA legend Allen Iverson called Acuff "the next HIM" on Instagram:

Acuff, 19, scored 27 points and added seven assists in a 97-78 win over Hawai'i in the first round of the NCAA men's tournament, and followed that up by going off for 36 points and six assists in the Razorbacks' 94-88 win over High Point on Saturday.

He's now scored 24 or more points in six straight games, hitting the 30-point mark three times in that span. He led Arkansas to an SEC tournament title and now has the team looking like a real threat to come out of the West Region (though teams like Arizona or Purdue could yet have something to say about that).

If nothing else, he's made himself a new fan in Iverson.
