LeBron James Sets NBA's All-Time Games Played Record, How Many Has Lakers Star Played in 23 Seasons?
Los Angeles Lakers forward LeBron James now stands alone on the NBA's list for the most regular season games played all time after taking the court for his team's road matchup with the Orlando Magic on Saturday.
Over his 23 NBA seasons, the 41-year-old James has now played 1,612 games, one more than longtime center and four-time NBA champion Robert Parish.

James entered Saturday averaging 21.3 points, 6.9 assists and 5.8 rebounds per game this season.
James already holds a host of all-time NBA records. As noted by James Jackson of The Athletic, they include regular season and playoff points, most All-NBA teams, most career postseason victories and most consecutive 10-point games. Earlier this year, James also became first overall in most field goals made.
Now James adds another mark to his incredible resume, which includes (but isn't limited to) three Olympic gold medals, four NBA championships, four NBA MVP awards, 21 All-NBA teams and 22 All-Star Games.
One of James' biggest accomplishments is that he's still highly productive well into his third NBA decade. Moreover, he's excelling on a scorching-hot Lakers team that's won eight straight and 11 of 12 entering the Magic game. That streak pushed L.A. to third in the Western Conference at 45-25.
The Lakers will continue their road trip on Monday when the visit the Detroit Pistons.
