Round 2 Predictions 🔮
Williams, Mitchell, Champagnie and Thunder guard Cason Wallace were all ejected from the contest.
Oklahoma City led 69-64 at halftime.
While the Thunder are the defending champions and currently own the NBA's No. 1 defensive rating, their physicality on defense hasn't led to many fights breaking out in the past.
They only recorded one ejection as a team through their first 70 games of the 2025-26 season. As for the Wizards, they ranked No. 10 among all teams with three ejections heading into Saturday's action.
The two organizations are on different trajectories this season, with the Thunder owning the best record in the association at 55-15 prior to the matchup. Meanwhile, Washington sits at No. 14 in the Eastern Conference standings with a 16-53 mark.
Williams has continued to serve as a key rotation piece for Oklahoma City throughout his fourth year with the team, primarily operating as a reserve despite making 11 starts.
He averaged 7.5 points, 5.5 rebounds, 2.5 assists per game while shooting 41.7 percent from the field and 37.2 percent from three-point territory prior to Saturday's contest.
Still, all four players that were tossed from the game could face further discipline from the league.
