Check Out Carlos Alcaraz's New Kangaroo Tattoo in Trending Photos to Celebrate Australian Open Win
Carlos Alcaraz lived up to his word by getting a kangaroo tattoo after winning his first career Australian Open title this year.
The tattoo was on display this week as Alcaraz was preparing for the Miami Open.
The pictures of the tattoo came after Alcaraz posted a series of images from his run at Indian Wells last week, which included one of him appearing to be getting fresh ink from a tattoo artist.
This marks the second commemorative tattoo Alcaraz has gotten. He celebrated his win at the 2022 U.S. Open by getting the Statue of Liberty, Brooklyn Bridge and date of his championship win (Sept. 11, 2022) on his left arm.
Alcaraz said during the Australian Open that if he were to win, he would put a kangaroo tattoo on either one of his legs.
The 22-year-old went on to defeat Novak Djokovic in the men's final at Melbourne Park. He completed the career grand slam in the process, making him the youngest men's player in history to win all four major titles.
It took less than two months for Alcaraz to fully commemorate the moment with a new tattoo. He is also back on the court with a third-round match against Sebastian Korda at the Miami Open scheduled for Sunday.
