Carlos Alcaraz Reveals Kangaroo Tattoo He'd Get If He Wins 1st Australian Open to Finish Grand Slam
Carlos Alcaraz has a plan in place to get a new tattoo if he wins the 2026 Australian Open to complete the career grand slam.
In a video posted on the Australian Open TikTok (h/t Skyler Caruso of People), Alcaraz said he intends to get a kangaroo tattoo to celebrate an Australian Open victory if it happens.
Alcaraz has even thought about where the ink would go, pointing to open spots on each of his legs.

"I have a spot here and here, so I would think about it," he said. "I'm a righty, so maybe the right one... next to the Wimbledon one."
Alcaraz already has three tattoos from his wins at the French Open, U.S. Open and Wimbledon. He recently unveiled the New York-themed tattoo from his two U.S. Open victories in 2022 and 2025.
Kangaroos are a huge part of Australian culture, including being recognized as an official symbol for the country in 1908. The marsupial has appeared on everything from Australian currency to the Royal Australian Air Force aircraft.
Alcaraz is only two wins away from capturing his first Australian Open title and becoming the youngest men's player to win the career grand slam. He will take on Alexander Zverev in the semifinal on Thursday.
