Jaylen Brown Reveals Memorizing Every Celtics Teammate's Astrology and Numerology in Trending Video

Boston Celtics star Jaylen Brown took a unique approach to improving his leadership skills for the 2025-26 season.

While speaking to reporters after Wednesday night's 120-99 win over the Golden State Warriors, Brown revealed that he has memorized each of his teammates' astrological signs to tailor how he interacts with each one of them.

"I learned communication styles that work best for each individual, and started utilizing that when I speak to each and every guy," Brown told reporters. "I didn't know if it would work before the season started, but that stuff definitely works."

Brown then proceeded to rattle off some of his teammates' signs under the Chinese Zodiac, as well as some numerology and astrology. He said he dedicated time to committing this information to memory throughout the year.

"Some friends who are into that stuff suggested it to try to see if it works," he said. "Everybody has a different kind of makeup of who they are and how they approach things, and if you learn a little bit about each person and what makes them tick, you can learn more about how to maximize potential. So, all that type of stuff added up over the course of the season, and here we are."

Brown's leadership strategy appears to have worked wonders for the Celtics, as they rank second in the Eastern Conference with a 46-23 record despite the lengthy absence of star forward Jayson Tatum, who made his return from a torn Achilles earlier this month. Brown led the way against the Warriors with 32 points, while Tatum added 24 points and 10 rebounds as he continues to round into form.

The Celtics will try to continue their march toward clinching a playoff spot when they return to action on Friday night in a road matchup against the Memphis Grizzlies (24-44).
