Anthony Edwards Builds 'Perfect' NBA Player Using Traits from Steph Curry, More on Video
Minnesota Timberwolves shooting guard Anthony Edwards, in conjunction with Topps, built the perfect NBA player using traits from Stephen Curry, Kyrie Irving and more.
Those are some good options. Dallas Mavericks guard Kyrie Irving's handles, of course, are legendary, and Golden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry is arguably the best shooter in the history of the game.
Edwards is currently teammates with Timberwolves forward Jaden McDaniels, who was on the NBA's All-Defensive Second Team in 2023-24. The six-year veteran has been a tremendous defensive player in his career thanks in large part to his size (6'10"), length and versatility.
Chris Paul was renowned for his basketball IQ and intelligence over a two-decade career that recently ended with his retirement, and he'll be in the Basketball Hall of Fame soon enough.
Sacramento Kings guard Zach LaVine is one of the best Slam Dunk Contest participants in the event's history, winning it in 2015 and 2016.
Edwards' basketball insight has been put to the test lately. Sportcaster Ahmad Rashad recently asked him his all-time starting five (Edwards went back-and-forth on center before going with Shaquille O'Neal over Hakeem Olajuwon).
Edwards is a great player himself, averaging a career-high 29.5 points for the 42-27 Timberwolves, currently sixth in the Western Conference and hoping to break through to the NBA Finals for the first time in franchise history after two straight conference final appearances.
