Coach K Picks NBA GOAT Between Michael Jordan, LeBron James, Kobe Bryant in Video
One of the greatest college basketball coaches of all time has weighed in on the GOAT conversation.
Former Duke head coach Mike Krzyzewski, who coached Michael Jordan, Kobe Bryant and LeBron James as Team USA's coach, gave his thoughts on the best player of all time on the Pat McAfee Show.
"The best player that I've ever been associated with is Jordan," Krzyzewski said. "And there are a number of other people that he can allow into his realm, a limited number of them. But it starts with Michael."

As for his reasoning, Coach K, an assistant on the 1992 "Dream Team" and later head coach of Team USA, pointed out Jordan's competitiveness. He added that Bryant, James and others are in the same "realm" as Jordan.
"He's a killer. He can do anything," Krzyzewski said. "He got bored and went to play baseball for a while. Then still came back. His attitude and his work ethic, I love him. He's the ultimate competitor. Kobe was close in that. He's in that realm. There's obviously Magic and Jabbar... LeBron is in there."
While those who watched Jordan, Bryant, James and the other all-time greats will continue to give their opinions on the GOAT debate, Jordan doesn't want to get into it.
The Chicago Bulls legend said on NBC's MJ: Insights to Excellence segment last week that the debate is "never gonna be something that I ever will get high or low about."
