Joe Lunardi Bracketology 2026 Seeds, Bubble Teams After Saturday's Tournament Winners

Zach BacharMar 14, 2026

Ahead of Selection Sunday, ESPN's Joe Lunardi provided another bracketology update.

Duke, Michigan and Arizona all stayed as projected No. 1 seeds after winning their respective conference tournament matchups on Saturday. Duke captured another ACC title and Arizona secured the Big 12 championship, while Michigan advanced to the Big 10 title game.

Florida suffered a 91-74 loss to Vanderbilt in the SEC tournament, but was still projected as the final No. 1 seed.

For teams on the bubble, Lunardi listed Oklahoma, Auburn, San Diego State and New Mexico listed as the "first four out."

Meanwhile, Missouri, Miami (OH), SMU and Texas were listed as the "last four in" the 68-team field.

Oklahoma closed the year on a high note, advancing to the quarterfinal round of the SEC tournament before falling to Arkansas on Friday. The Sooners have won six of their past seven games, but their 19-15 overall record could keep them out of March Madness.

Auburn will attempt to clinch an NCAA tournament spot largely due to its third-toughest strength of schedule in the country, per KenPom. The Tigers' 17-16 record and 3-9 mark over their final 12 games might be too much to overcome, though.

Miami (OH) wasn't able to stay perfect after losing to UMass in the quarterfinals of the MAC tournament on Thursday, but its 31-1 record is still extremely impressive.

The RedHawks' high-powered offense could help them clinch a March Madness berth, ranking No. 2 in the country with an average of 90.7 points per game.

Missouri swiftly exited the SEC tournament, falling to Kentucky in a second-round matchup on Thursday. Despite the defeat as well as the Tigers' current three-game losing streak, their 20-12 overall record could be enough to earn a tournament spot.

The full 68-team bracket will be announced on Sunday at 6 p.m. ET.
