Jelly Roll Punches The Miz on Video in Return to WWE SmackDown as Fans Eye WrestleMania 42 Match

Country music star Jelly Roll has returned to WWE SmackDown.

Jelly Roll started off by having a war of words with The Miz during the latest episode on Friday before the pair were interrupted by Kit Wilson.

Wilson called out Jelly Roll, who attempted to punch him before ultimately hitting The Miz instead.

Fans looked forward to a possible WrestleMania 42 match involving Jelly Roll and The Miz following the altercation.

Jelly Roll is no stranger to WWE action, as he chokeslammed Austin Theory at SummerSlam 2024 after initially performing a pair of songs. He was then involved in a scuffle between Miz, R-Truth, Grayson Waller and Theory before delivering the move.

He returned in 2025 after training with The Undertaker, Kevin Owens and Jacob Fatu.

Jelly Roll eventually made his in-ring debut at SummerSlam 2025, as he was involved in a tag team match that also contained Randy Orton, Drew McIntyre and Logan Paul.

Jelly Roll and Orton ultimately lost to McIntyre and Paul, though.

After Jelly Roll declined Miz's offer to mentor him and punched him on Friday, a feud between the two seems to be brewing with WrestleMania drawing closer. Wilson could be included as well.

WrestleMania 42 will take place at Allegiant Stadium on April 18 and April 19.
