Big Ten Tournament 2026 Men's Quarterfinals Scores, Semifinals Bracket and Schedule

Joe TanseyMar 13, 2026

The Michigan Wolverines are the only top-four seed left standing at the 2026 Big Ten tournament.

Michigan won the rivalry showdown with the Ohio State Buckeyes to kick off quarterfinal Friday in Chicago.

The Wisconsin Badgers, Purdue Boilermakers and UCLA Bruins then pulled off three straight upsets over the three other top-four seeds.

Even though Michigan is the clear favorite to win the tournament now, it will have a bit of revenge on its mind on Saturday against Wisconsin.

Purdue and UCLA will also meet for the second time this season in Saturday's second semifinal.

Illinois v Wisconsin

Saturday, 1 p.m. ET, CBS

Wisconsin will be at a disadvantage against Michigan because of some heavy legs.

The Badgers played in the third round on Thursday and then battled into overtime with Illinois in Friday's quarterfinals.

On the other hand, Michigan played a single game in Chicago so far, a regulation win over Ohio State.

Wisconsin is capable of playing up to Michigan's level. After all, the Badgers handed Michigan one of its two regular-season losses.

The Badgers posted 91 points against the Wolverines on January 10. After that point, no team scored more than 80 on the Michigan defense, not even the top-ranked Duke Blue Devils.

Wisconsin's reached the 85-point mark in four games during its current five-game winning streak.

The focus seems simple for Michigan, then, as it needs to hold the Badgers in the 60s or 70s to keep the dream of winning the Big Ten double alive.

COLLEGE BASKETBALL: MAR 13 Big Ten Tournament - Purdue v Nebraska

Saturday, 3:30 p.m. ET, CBS

UCLA and Purdue are surprise semifinalists because of how they both finished the regular season.

The Bruins closed the regular season with a 4-3 record, while Purdue went 2-4 in its last six.

The two programs righted things in Chicago by earning consecutive wins. Purdue upset the Nebraska Cornhuskers on Friday, while UCLA knocked off the Michigan State Spartans.

UCLA won the regular-season meeting with Purdue by two points on January 20. We should expect another close battle on Saturday.

Purdue's Braden Smith versus UCLA's Donovan Dent is one of the best guard matchups you'll see for the rest of the season.

It could be as simple as whichever team's star guard performs best will win on Saturday. Dent had the upper hand in the first meeting with 23 points.
