Le'Veon Bell Mocks Logan Paul, Posts Clown Meme After Star Says WWE Won't Allow Boxing Fight
Former NFL running back Le'Veon Bell is calling shenanigans on a video of Logan Paul receiving a call from WWE officials preventing him from competing in a boxing match.
Paul announced on X that WWE officials banned him from boxing because he's "too valuable" to WWE to be competing in another sport.
Video purported to be taken on a live stream, was later posted online with Paul receiving a call from someone named "Chris" telling him of the decision.
Bell used this opportunity to troll Paul in a series of X posts, including accusing him of staging the phone call to get out of the match:
Sunday's exchange came after the two appeared to agree to terms on a boxing match for next weekend, with the winner getting $1 million.
There are any number of reasons to be skeptical that this was actually going to happen from that agreement anyway, but this whole thing definitely has the veneer of a potential wrestling angle that could pay off fairly soon.
Paul and Tom Brady first engaged in a war of words about whether or not NFL players could handle professional wrestling.
Anyone who has watched wrestling/WWE for any length of time is not unjustified in expecting some sort of potential angle at the Fanatics Flag Football Classic, with Paul and Brady both taking part in the event.
WrestleMania 42 is also set to take place at Allegiant Stadium, home of the Las Vegas Raiders, on April 18 and 19. Brady is a minority owner of the NFL franchise and is rumored to be getting some WWE-specific merchandise, though there's no indication at this point he will be involved on the show.
After Bell's NFL career ended, he switched to boxing in 2022. The three-time Pro Bowler has a 2-1 record in three professional fights, most recently defeating Tristan Hamm via unanimous decision in May 2024.
