Tom Brady's WWE Nicknames, More Reportedly Discussed in New Rumors Amid Logan Paul Feud

Mike ChiariMar 5, 2026

Despite his recent controversial comments regarding pro wrestling, legendary NFL quarterback Tom Brady reportedly may be entering into a working relationship with WWE.

According to Fightful's WrestleVotes, Brady-related "logos, specialty merchandise, and branding have been worked on within some departments of WWE." That includes assets referencing nicknames such as "T-Bone" and "The Untouchable Tom Brady."

Appearing recently on the Impaulsive podcast with YouTuber and WWE Superstar Logan Paul (h/t Boston.com's Khari A. Thompson), Brady asserted his belief that football players are far better athletes than wrestlers:

"It's cute," Brady said. "I love WWE. It's very cute. But, honestly, this is like real football, real competition."

That led to reactions from several of WWE's top Superstars, including CM Punk, Drew McIntyre, Paul Heyman, Oba Femi and Liv Morgan:

While Punk and McIntyre didn't seem to take much offense to it, Heyman, Femi and Morgan all made their feelings known.

Heyman took a shot at Brady by crediting head coach Bill Belichick and tight end Rob Gronkowski for Brady's success while with the New England Patriots, and Femi said, "For those who think it's cute and it's fluffy and it's all sweet and stuff, you can come and try, you can lace up some boots and then let's watch you puke."

Morgan, who is the reigning WWE women's Royal Rumble winner, chimed in during an appearance on Going Ringside podcast (h/t Felix Upton of Ringside News):

"I think I might have read about it here and there, but I did not pay any mind to it because although a lot of people in WWE are cute, there's so much more to WWE than I think people understand and realize," Morgan said.

"And no disrespect to any sport out there, but I feel like you can take a WWE star and perhaps put them on the football field and they will make do. We will get it done. But can you take a football star and put them in a WWE ring and can they do everything that we do? I don't know. I don't know about that."

Despite Brady's opinions on wrestling, a partnership between him and WWE could be financially beneficial for everyone involved.

With seven Super Bowl wins, five Super Bowl MVP awards, three NFL MVP awards and numerous passing records to his credit, Brady is considered by many to be the greatest player in NFL history.

As a result, he has a massive and loyal fanbase, much like WWE has for the past several decades.

Brady and WWE are two of the biggest brands in the world of sports and entertainment, so they would undoubtedly make a big splash should they ultimately decide to collaborate in some way.
