Maxx Crosby Trade Rumors Link Cowboys, Ravens as Raiders Eye Micah Parsons-Like Package
As trade speculation picks up around Maxx Crosby heading into the start of the NFL league year next week, the Las Vegas Raiders have set their asking price for the star pass-rusher incredibly high.
Per The Athletic's Dianna Russini, the Raiders want a Micah Parsons-like return of two first-round draft picks and a player in exchange for the five-time Pro Bowler.

2025 Draft Picks Ready For Leap 🐸

Jaguars' Hypothetical Alvin Kamara Trade Offer
The Raiders have at least been consistent with what they are putting out about their desire in a return for Crosby. ESPN's Adam Schefter reported on Feb. 9 that the Dallas Cowboys' return for Parsons was what they wanted to recoup.
There has been a growing expectation as free agency gets closer that Crosby is unlikely to return to Las Vegas.
ESPN's Jeremy Fowler said on the Feb. 14 episode of SportsCenter that there has been no formal trade request, but someone within the Raiders organization cited his chances of returning as "pretty small" based on where they are in their rebuilding cycle.
The trade winds have picked up this week, as The Athletic's Michael Silver reported on Wednesday that Crosby is ready to leave the Raiders and a deal is "expected" in the coming days or weeks.
NFL insider Jordan Schultz added on Thursday that teams around the league "have gotten the sense" that the Raiders are more open to moving Crosby and talks could intensify.
The Cowboys and Chicago Bears have been cited as teams to watch for Crosby. Depending on what you make of Lane Johnson's social media posts, maybe Philadelphia Eagles general manager Howie Roseman has something cooking.
Every team with Super Bowl aspirations in 2026 should at least put in a call to the Raiders because Crosby is a difference-making defensive player. He has recorded at least 10 sacks in three of the last four seasons and is tied with Myles Garrett for most tackles for loss since 2022.
A Parsons-like return for Crosby would be rich due to one key difference. Parsons was entering his age-26 season when the Cowboys dealt him to the Green Bay Packers in August. Crosby will turn 29 on Aug. 22.
Crosby does make $11 million less per season than Parsons on their current contracts, so that could be one thing that works to the Raiders benefit.
However this situation plays out, it's probably in the Raiders' best interest to move Crosby now. They don't look particularly close to competing for a playoff spot, even with the No. 1 pick in the 2026 draft coming in. Their overall roster talent is lacking and a trade that adds even one extra first-round pick plus, say, a day-two pick could help them set the foundation for their next great era.
If the Raiders can leverage a lack of high-impact edge rushers on the free-agent market into getting a deal similar to the one Dallas got for Parsons, they could end up having one of the brightest futures in the NFL.
