Latest Maxx Crosby Trade Rumors as NFL Insider Predicts '16, 20' Teams to Make Offer to Raiders
If the Las Vegas Raiders decide to make Maxx Crosby available in a trade, there will be no shortage of potential suitors for the five-time Pro Bowler throughout the NFL.
On Saturday's episode of SportsCenter, ESPN's Jeremy Fowler predicted anywhere from "16, 20" different teams would at least make offers to the Raiders for Crosby:
"He has not made a trade request. Nothing has happened yet. However, I did talk to a team source who does believe Crosby's chances of returning are pretty small at this point just because of where the Raiders are. They are in a major rebuilding phase. They need draft picks to rebuild that roster. They can get a lot of them for Maxx Crosby. I suspect that you have 16, 20 teams around the league that are at the very least going to formally inquire if they have not already."

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Crosby's standing with the Raiders has been all over the place in recent months. He became a popular potential trade candidate late in the season when Fox Sports' Jay Glazer reported he was "not happy" with the team's decision to shut him down for the final two games of the season due to a knee injury.
New Raiders head coach Klint Kubiak made it clear during his introductory press conference on Tuesday that he wants Crosby "to be part of our success going forward, and there's no doubt about that."
Crosby in turn was very complimentary toward Kubiak on his podcast.
NFL insider Jordan Schultz recently reported the Raiders would seek a Micah Parsons-like trade package to move Crosby. Parsons was traded from the Dallas Cowboys to the Green Bay Packers in exchange for a starting defensive lineman (Kenny Clark) and two first-round draft picks.
There's an argument based on where the Raiders are in their roster build, especially with a second-year general manager and first-year head coach, to take that type of offer if one were to come their way since they already own the No. 1 pick in the 2026 draft.
Of course, the counterargument would be it's incredibly hard to find a pass-rusher of Crosby's ability. He's also still in his prime at 28 years old and under contract through the 2029 season.
Since his rookie season in 2019, Crosby's 69.5 sacks are the sixth-most in the NFL. He leads the league with 133 tackles for loss during that period, five more than Myles Garrett.
