Nikola Jokic, Lu Dort Get Into Altercation in Viral Video, Photos From Nuggets vs. Thunder
Denver Nuggets star Nikola Jokić and Oklahoma City Thunder wing Lu Dort were involved in an altercation during a matchup between the two Western Conference contenders on Friday night.
In the fourth quarter of the game, Dort contacted Jokić with his hip as he was running up the floor. Jokić took exception to the foul, which led to the incident.
Dort was given a Flagrant 2 foul after a review and was ejected from the contest.
He finished with eight points, six rebounds and one steal while shooting 3-of-7 from the field.
As for Jokić, he recorded his 22nd triple-double of the season.
Dort has developed a reputation for his physical defensive style, helping him earn an All-Defensive First Team nod in 2025. He's also averaging 2.9 personal fouls per game this season, the highest mark among all Thunder players.
Denver and Oklahoma City have been extremely familiar with one another as of late, as the two squads faced off in a second-round playoff series last year. The Thunder ultimately won in seven games before later capturing a championship.
Both teams won't have to wait long before they play again, as Oklahoma City will host Denver on March 9 at 7:30 p.m. ET.
