The Hawks continued to thrive offensively in the second quarter, scoring 39 points in the period and holding a 76-56 advantage at halftime.
Atlanta eventually cruised to the win, leading by as many as 32 points in the second half. Washington wasn't able to cut the deficit to single digits at any point throughout the remainder of the contest.
Corey Kispert scored a career-high 33 points for the Hawks, shooting 6-of-11 from three-point territory. CJ McCollum also chipped in with 25 points and six rebounds.
As for Kuminga, Thursday represented another impressive outing after he scored 27 points and grabbed seven rebounds in his team debut on Tuesday.
The 23-year-old wasn't able to carve out a consistent role with Golden State near the end of his tenure with the organization, alternating between a starter and a bench player while also spending some time outside of the Warriors' rotation.
As Kuminga begins his Hawks career, he's excelling with extended playing time.
