Malik Nabers' Injury Rehab Progress Shown in Giants WR's Workout Videos After Knee Surgery

Malik Nabers appears to be progressing well in his rehab.

The New York Giants wide receiver, who suffered a season-ending torn ACL in September, was seen doing a handful of workouts involving his knee in a recent video.

Nabers, the former No. 6 overall pick in the 2024 NFL draft, had an outstanding rookie season with 1,204 yards and seven touchdowns. Unfortunately for him, he didn't get the chance to build on the strong start. He suffered a torn ACL four games into the season, finishing his second campaign with 271 yards and a pair of touchdowns, all of which led the team at the time of the injury.

He also sustained a partially torn meniscus in addition to the ACL damage. Nabers underwent surgery for the torn ACL a month after suffering the injury.

General manager Joe Schoen offered an update on Nabers' injury timeline earlier this week, saying that he could be ready for training camp.

"Malik is trending to hopefully be ready for training camp," Schoen told reporters. "Things can change ... but that's the hope."

The Giants team that Nabers will return to will be much different than the one he last suited up for. New York fired head coach Brian Daboll in November and has since replaced him with former Baltimore Ravens head coach John Harbaugh.

Harbaugh spoke highly of Nabers on Tuesday.

"I had a chance to talk to Malik on the phone," Harbaugh said after the press conference. "It was great. He was training out in LA, rehabbing out there for a week or whatever it was and working hard. I just love talking to him. His joy and excitement, he had some really good ideas, he's really a thoughtful guy. Obviously, saw him coming out (of LSU). He wasn't a guy we had a chance for, so it was like, 'Well, look at this guy, he's really good.' Just kind of a dream. I figured we might have to cover him someday, and here we are, we get a chance to coach him. So I'm really excited about it."

Nabers will also be catching passes from reigning Offensive Rookie of the Year Jaxson Dart, with whom he only got to play a few drives in 2025.

While the Giants have plenty of work to do turn things around in Harbaugh's first season, having their star wideout back on the field will give their offense a significant boost.
