Giants' Malik Nabers Reportedly Suffered Torn Meniscus in Addition to ACL Injury
The knee injury suffered by New York Giants star Malik Nabers included more damage than just a torn ACL.
Per The Athletic's Dan Duggan, Nabers also suffered a partially torn meniscus in his right knee.
Duggan noted the meniscus injury is fairly common with a torn ACL and is not expected to add time to Nabers' recovery after he undergoes surgery "within the next week or two."

Nabers suffered the knee injury midway through the second quarter of Sunday's win over the Los Angeles Chargers. He had to be taken off the field on a cart.
The Giants confirmed on Monday that Nabers suffered a torn ACL and would miss the remainder of the season.
"We'll have a tremendous amount of support for him and his family," head coach Brian Daboll said. "That's obviously a tough loss for our football team, but we'll regroup, and we'll get the guys ready to play that are here and be as good as we can be. On the perimeter, I know those guys will do everything they can do to be as good as we can be. But certainly, when you lose one of your better players, that's a big loss."
According to Duggan, there's no other damage to Nabers' knee besides the ACL and meniscus.
The loss of Nabers not only hindered some of the positive vibes from New York's first win of the season, but it also leaves the team with a huge spot to fill for the rest of 2025.
Nabers is leading the Giants in targets (35), receiving yards (271), yards per reception (15.1) and touchdowns (two) through the first four games. He set a franchise rookie record with 109 receptions during the 2024 campaign.
Wan'Dale Robinson, who ranks second on the team in targets and receiving yards, will slot in as the No. 1 target going forward. Darius Slayton, who is averaging 15.0 yards per reception, will also see an expanded role in the offense.
