Giannis, Jayson Tatum, Paolo Banchero Revealed for 'NBA THE RUN' Video Game Roster in New Trailer

As part of the continued build up for NBA The Run's release, Play by Play Studios has revealed the latest trio of NBA stars who will be available to play in the game.

In the new trailer released on Wednesday, Giannis Antetekoumpo, Jayson Tatum, and Paolo Banchero will be featured as the "Beasts in the East" group.

The roster of Antetekoumpo, Tatum and Banchero will join the four previously-announced trio groups in the game:

  • "Fight Club": Anthony Edwards, Ja Morant, Zion Williamson
  • "Got Next": Cooper Flagg, Victor Wembanyama, Amen Thompson
  • "Midrange Masters": Kevin Durant, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Devin Booker
  • "Green Light": Stephen Curry, Donovan Mitchell, Jalen Brunson

NBA The Run is a 3-on-3 arcade style street basketball game that was originally announced by Play By Play Studios in October. Gamers will be able to use some of their favorite hoopers on legendary street courts, including Venice Beach, The Tenement in the Philippines and Rucker Park.

The original reveal trailer also featured Luka Dončić and LaMelo Ball, who have not yet been featured in any of the trailers for the trio groups that have been announced.

Game modes will include solo, team-style and online multiplayer knockout tournaments.

An official release date for NBA The Run has not yet been announced, but it is expected to drop at some point in 2026. The game will be available for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and Steam on PC.
