Megan Thee Stallion Says She's 'Manifesting My Engagement' to Klay Thompson in New Video
Megan Thee Stallion said during her latest YouTube video from Milan, Italy during the Winter Olympics that she is "manifesting my engagement" to Dallas Mavericks shooting guard Klay Thompson.
To set the scene, Megan Thee Stallion sat down for a meal with Laila Edwards, the first Black woman to both make Team USA hockey and win a gold medal as well after the Americans' 2-1 overtime win over Canada in this year's Winter Games.
Edwards' teammate, Team USA captain Hilary Knight, then dropped by alongside American speedskater (and her fiancée) Brittany Bowe. Knight recently proposed to Bowe at the Olympics, and Megan Thee Stallion asked to see the video.
"I love love, that's so sweet," Megan Thee Stallion said in part. "I'm manifesting my engagement, too."
Megan Thee Stallion and Thompson first officially appeared in public and confirmed their relationship last July on the red carpet at the inaugural Pete & Thomas Foundation Gala, held in honor of her foundation whose stated mission is to provide resources for women, children, senior citizens and underserved communities.
She told Madison E. Goldberg and Jack Irvin of People Magazine that Thompson is "the nicest person I've ever met in my life."
"This is my first relationship where I've ever been with somebody who's genuinely a nice person, and he makes me genuinely happy," she also told New York Post's PageSix on the red carpet.
"I just never dated somebody like him before and I'm just grateful that he's here by my side and he feels the same way about me."
