Steph Curry Honors NBA Legend Dikembe Mutombo with Shoes During Warriors vs. Nuggets in Photos

Despite sitting out Sunday's 128-117 win over the Denver Nuggets, Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry still found the time to honor a legend.

Curry was seen on the sidelines wearing Hall of Famer Dikembe Mutombo's Adidas Mutombo Retro 1's during Sunday's game:

Mutombo, who died in 2024 at the age of 58, starred for the Nuggets for the first five years of his legendary NBA career.

After parting ways with Under Armour last year, Curry has spent much of the season paying homage to NBA legends and his current pairs by wearing sneakers dedicated to the stars on opposing teams. Despite his continued absence due to a knee injury, the Warriors improved to 30-27 with Sunday's win.
