Lakers' Luka Doncic Gifts JJ Redick a $5K Dior Jacket in Video After Viral Clip of Discussion

After JJ Redick recently questioned the type of jacket Luka Dončić was wearing, the Los Angeles Lakers superstar responded by gifting his head coach his own luxurious Dior jacket.

Prior to Friday's game against the Los Angeles Clippers, the Lakers posted a video of Dončić presenting Redick with the jacket.

The joke dates back to Feb. 12 when the Lakers were hosting the Dallas Mavericks at Crypto.com Arena. Dončić, who sat out due to a hamstring injury, was wearing a jacket as part of his attire on the bench.

Redick engaged Dončić in a brief back and forth about what kind of jacket it was, with Redick noting it doesn't qualify as a bomber or tour jacket. He insisted it was a blouson jacket. Dončić simply referred to it as a jacket before joking, "you don't know anything about style.

The Dior website did confirm that Redick's suspicion was correct: "The blouson jacket is a wardrobe essential. Crafted in anthracite gray lambskin, it is distinguished by its debossed Dior signatures along the snap closure, while a patch pocket adorns the front."

Dior lists the jacket for sale at just under $5,000, so if you have some extra cash around and want to dress like Dončić, this is how you do it.

The jacket could be a good-luck charm for the Lakers. They defeated the Mavs 124-104 when Dončić was wearing it on their bench, then followed that up with a victory over the Clippers on Friday after Redick received one.

Redick might need to keep his jacket around his office if the Lakers keep winning games.
