Bronny James posted 13 points, five rebounds and five assists for the G League's South Bay Lakers en route to their 127-105 road victory over the Texas Legends on Friday evening.
James also made an impact on the defensive end with a pair of blocked shots and a steal.
The 21-year-old had an off-shooting night, making 5-of-14 field goals (1-of-4 from deep). He has done well on that front overall in the G League this year, though. Heading into the evening, James was averaging 15.8 points on 61.0 percent shooting (42.9 percent from three) and 5.3 assists in four G League games (three starts).

James has spent most of the season with the Los Angeles Lakers, making appearances in 29 games. The 21-year-old is getting more chances for consistent playing time and development with South Bay, though, and has made the most of them thus far.
South Bay got off to a hot start, leading Texas 37-24 after the first quarter and 66-45 at halftime. The Lakers cruised from there en route to the 22-point win.
Former Gonzaga star Drew Timme led all scorers with 25 points. Rookie Adou Thiero, a second-round pick in the NBA draft, had 19 points on 7-of-8 shooting and seven rebounds.
