Lakers' LeBron James Celebrates 2026 NBA All-Star Weekend Moments in IG Photos
LeBron James celebrated his 22nd All-Star Game appearance with a collection of images from his weekend in Los Angeles.
The Lakers superstar posted a series of pictures from the Intuit Dome on his Instagram, along with the caption: "ALL-⭐️ 2️⃣6️⃣! Blessed and always truly honored To be apart of it! THANK YOU ALL! 🫡👑"
James was named to the All-Star team as a reserve, marking the first time in his career he wasn't voted in as a starter. All-Star reserves are voted on by NBA coaches, while starters are chosen from a combination of fan, media and player voting.
Despite having his streak of consecutive years being named an All-Star starter snapped, James extended his streak of consecutive appearances to 22. He is the only player in NBA history to make the All-Star team at least 20 times.
Kareem Abdul-Jabbar is second on the list with 19 appearances during his legendary career.
The only time James didn't make the All-Star team was his rookie year. The future Hall of Famer played for the USA Stripes squad in the new three-team round-robin format against USA Stars and World teams.
James scored 15 points across the three games for USA Stripes. They lost to the USA Stars team 47-21 in the championship game.
