Bulls' Matas Buzelis Says He Paid for Sister's College Tuition After Signing First NBA Contract

Many NBA rookies use their first contract to splurge on cars, jewelry and other lavish items, but Chicago Bulls Matas Buzelis chose to go a different route.

Buzelis said he used his first NBA contract to pay for his sister's college tuition (20-second mark in video).

Buzelis is having a strong second season, putting up 15.2 points and 5.4 rebounds per game. The former first-round pick is well on his way to a big second contract, so perhaps he can use the money from that one a bit more selfishly after his generous gift to his sister.
