LeBron James Hypes Anthony Edwards After 2026 NBA All-Star MVP Award, 'First of Many'

LeBron James is a pretty big fan of Minnesota Timberwolves superstar Anthony Edwards.

"I love Antman," he told reporters after Sunday's All-Star Game. "Everything about him. On the court, off the court. Happy for him. First of many All-Star MVPs for him. I love Ant. He's got a fan in me and a friend in me for life."

Edwards was named the event's MVP after scoring 32 points to go along with nine rebounds and three assists as Team Stars won the round-robin style event. It was no small feat—Kawhi Leonard scored 31 points in just 12 minutes during Team Stripes' win over Team World and appeared to be the frontrunner for the award.

But Team Stars blew out Team Stripes in the final, 47-21, paving the way for Edwards to take home the hardware. And James thought he was plenty deserving.
