'Not Telling Them S--t,' De'Aaron Fox Won't Give All-Stars Tips on Wemby, Don't Want Win 'That Bad'
San Antonio Spurs star point guard De'Aaron Fox isn't planning on giving his fellow All-Stars any advice on how to guard Spurs teammate Victor Wembanyama.
"I'm not telling them s--t," Fox said Saturday, per Tom Orsborn of the San Antonio Express-News. "I don't want to win this game that bad where I'm going to give Vic stuff away."
The Spurs duo will be suiting up for different squads during Sunday's All-Star Game, as Fox is playing for Team USA Stripes and Wembanyama is a member of Team World.
Wembanyama has averaged 24.4 points and 11.1 rebounds to go along with 2.7 blocks per game this year, while Fox has recorded 19.4 points and 6.3 assists on a nightly basis.
With the Spurs currently owning a 38-16 record and holding the No. 2 spot in the Western Conference standings, Fox isn't interested in giving away any tips that can be used against Wembanyama down the road.
The NBA All-Star Game will begin at 5 p.m. ET on Sunday on NBC and Peacock.
