Will Stephen Curry Wear Final Under Armour Signature Shoe? Latest NBA Rumors on Curry 13

Julia StumbaughFeb 13, 2026

Stephen Curry isn't expected to debut his final Under Armour signature shoe while playing for the Golden State Warriors this season, Front Office Sports' Colin Salao reported Friday.

According to Salao, a source said Curry has "no plans" to wear Under Armour's Curry 13 in any NBA action.

Under Armour launched the Curry 13 on Friday, three months after Curry and the brand announced the end of their 13-year partnership in November.

Curry has since worn a variety of brands as a sneaker free agent, including Nike, Adidas and Rebook.

Other brands he has worn since the split include Li-Ning, Puma, New Balance, Hoka, Anta, AND1, per Complex's Zac Dubasik and Ben Felderstein.

The Curry 13 was launched the same day as the theatrical release of Goat, an animated movie produced by Curry.

The sneaker retails for $140 each in adult sizes, according to Under Armour's website.

Under Armour originally announced on Nov. 13 that Curry Brand would be independent from the brand going forward.

The split came amid general restructuring by Under Armour, which had reported significant net losses quarter prior, per WWD's Vicki M. Young.

Curry Brand had an estimated value of $75 million to $100 million at the time, down an estimated 50 percent from its peak value, per Young.

Under Armour said at the time of the split that the Curry 13 release would go on as scheduled, and that additional colorways would be available through October.

Curry last wore Curry Brand shoes on Nov. 18, according to Salao.

The Warriors star began his NBA career as a Nike sponsored-athlete in 2009 before leaving to sign a multi-year deal with Under Armour in 2013.

Curry has been sidelined since Jan. 30 with a right knee injury that will keep him from participating in Sunday's All-Star Game in Los Angeles.

Through the 39 games in which he has been available, he has averaged 27.2 points while leading the NBA with 4.5 three-pointers made per game.

The sneaker free agent is signed with the Warriors through the 2026-27 season and is currently set to hit free agency ahead of his age-39 season in 2027.
