Jalen Williams Injury Update, Timeline to Return to Thunder After NBA All-Star Break

Zach BacharFeb 12, 2026

Oklahoma City Thunder star Jalen Williams will be reevaluated following the upcoming All-Star break after aggravating a hamstring strain, per ESPN's Tim MacMahon.

Williams missed 10 games due to a hamstring injury that he initially suffered on Jan. 17, returning to appear in two contests before exiting early during Oklahoma City's 136-109 win over the Phoenix Suns on Wednesday.

He was then ruled out of the Thunder's matchup with the Milwaukee Bucks on Thursday.

Williams has only appeared in 26 of Oklahoma City's first 55 games this year, as his season debut was delayed until Nov. 28 while he recovered from offseason wrist surgery.

It's understandable that the Thunder want to take a cautious approach regarding his recovery, as they currently remain atop the Western Conference standings with a 42-13 record.

Thursday night's clash with Milwaukee is also their final game before the All-Star break.

As for Williams, he's averaged 17.5 points, 5.4 assists, 4.7 rebounds and 1.3 steals per game while shooting 47.9 percent from the field and 31.3 percent from three-point territory.

He served as Oklahoma City's secondary scorer next to Shai Gilgeous-Alexander during their run to a championship last season, averaging 21.6 points per game on 48.4/36.5/78.9 shooting splits. Williams also earned the first All-Star nod of his career in 2025.

With the 24-year-old out, Aaron Wiggins should operate in a larger role against the Bucks.

After Thursday's contest, the next game for the Thunder after the All-Star break will be against the Brooklyn Nets on Feb. 20.
