Rams' Puka Nacua Compares Giannis to Myles Garrett in Video After NBA Trade Rumors at Deadline

Puka Nacua had some fun with the Giannis Antetokounmpo situation after the NBA trade deadline passed Thursday.

During an appearance on The Pat McAfee Show, the Los Angeles Rams wide receiver joked that the Milwaukee Bucks star and Cleveland Browns star Myles Garrett are similar because it's never fully clear if they want to be traded or remain with their current teams.

"It's like, 'Oh, I don't want to be here,'" Nacua said. "And then, 'Hey, look, I'm back guys.'"

Whether Antetokounmpo would be traded or not was the biggest storyline leading up to the deadline with ESPN's Shams Charania reporting on Jan. 28 that the future Hall of Famer was "ready for a new home."

However, the Bucks ended up not trading him, which drew a notable response from the forward on social media:

As for Garrett, he agreed to a contract extension with the Browns in March 2025 that made him the highest-paid non-quarterback in NFL history at the time. Yet that came approximately one month after he requested a trade from the Browns.

Fortunately for Cleveland, he ended up staying and was a significant bright spot in an otherwise disappointing 2025 season. All he did was set the NFL's single-season sack record while taking home the Defensive Player of the Year.

Ideally for the Bucks, Antetokounmpo will be the one setting records just like Garrett now that he is also remaining with his team.
