Shai Gilgeous-Alexander Injured, Latest Updates on Thunder Star's Timeline to Return

Oklahoma City Thunder guard and reigning NBA MVP Shai Gilgeous-Alexander suffered an abdominal strain that will sideline him until after the All-Star break, the team announced on Wednesday.

Gilgeous-Alexander will miss his team's next five games beginning on Wednesday at the San Antonio Spurs and running through a Feb. 12 home matchup with the Milwaukee Bucks. His next chance to play will be Friday, Feb. 20 vs. the Brooklyn Nets.
