New Bulls Rumors on Coby White, Ayo Dosunmu Ahead of 2026 NBA Deadline

The Chicago Bulls may have point guard Coby White on the trade market, but doesn't sound as though there is resounding interest for his services.

According to Joel Lorenzi of The Athletic, "While so few transactions have made the going rate for White difficult to gauge, one league source indicated that Chicago has struggled in early attempts to net a first-round pick in a deal that might involve the seventh-year guard. Any reluctance stems from his expiring contract, the potential figure on his next deal and his nagging calf issues this season."

Ayo Dosunmu, on the other hand, has reportedly "emerged as one of Chicago's better assets," though Lorenzi added that there is "some mutual interest between Dosunmu and the Bulls on a potential extension. This isn't to say the Bulls are married to Dosunmu, who turned 26 last month, and whose stock feels like it's at an all-time high."

In other words, it could take a "convincing package" for the Bulls to move him in a trade.

White, 25, is averaging 18.5 points and 4.8 assists per game, though his impending free agency this summer makes him a risky addition for a contending team, as he might be little more than a rental.

The 26-year-old Dosunmu is in the same boat, though he should be a more affordable player to re-sign in the summer and has emerged as an excellent role player, averaging 14.8 points and 3.5 assists while shooting 44.1 percent from three this season. If that shooting is real and not just a temporary blip, he has very real value as an off-ball guard.
