Did Anthony Edwards, Adidas Troll Luka, Giannis, Wemby, Jokic, SGA in Video After NBA All-Star Nod?

Anthony Edwards and adidas appeared to take some shots at his competition in his latest ad with the shoe company.

After Edwards was announced as an All-Star, Adidas released a video of Edwards playing a video game, and some of the characters he was up against appeared similar to a handful of NBA stars, like Victor Wembanyama, Giannis Antetokounmpo, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Nikola Jokić and Luka Dončić.

Edwards could have made a few enemies with his new ad, considering what it seemingly had to say about other players.

For the player who appeared to be Wembanyama, Edwards called out "weight room," and it noted that he had no "swag." He also referenced Antetokounmpo's recent trade rumors while taking a jab at his lengthy free-throw routine.

For a character resembling Gilgeous-Alexander appeared, the ad poked fun at his ability to draw free throws, saying his favorite accessory was a whistle. When Dončić's character appeared, it said that he was suffering from "late game fatigue."

Edwards has perhaps earned the right to trash-talk his fellow stars after putting together an incredible first half of the season. The sixth-year player is putting up 29.4 points, 5.2 rebounds, 3.7 assists and 1.3 steals per game while shooting 49.5 percent from the field and an efficient 40.9 percent from deep. His All-Star nod this year marks his fourth in a row.

The Timberwolves are once again an NBA Finals contender, and they're currently sitting in fifth place in the West at 31-19.

After Edwards' latest campaign for Adidas, it will be interesting to see if the players referenced in the ad will have a chip on their shoulder the next time they face the Timberwolves.

The All-Star Game later this month will be a USA vs. World format, which means Wembanyama, Gilgeous-Alexander, Jokić and Dončić will all go up against Edwards.
