NBA Announces Schedule Adjustments After Weather-Related Postponements Due to Winter Storm
The NBA is shifting four games of the 2025-26 season in order to accommodate weather postponements made during last weekend's winter storm.
The league announced new dates on Thursday for two games postponed last Sunday, including the Dallas Mavericks at Milwaukee Bucks and Denver Nuggets at Memphis Grizzlies.
The schedule changes will necessitate two more shifts for future Grizzlies home games against the New York Knicks and Mavericks, per the NBA.

Last weekend's winter storm previously caused the NBA to make other schedule changes by moving up the start times for Monday games featuring the Philadelphia 76ers at Charlotte Hornets and Indiana Pacers at Atlanta Hawks.
The Mavericks attempted twice to fly to Milwaukee for their original Sunday night game against the Bucks, but were prevented by the winter weather conditions, according to the AP.
The Nuggets were already in Memphis before the game against the Grizzlies was cancelled. The weather conditions left the team stuck in Tennessee for three nights, per Bennett Durando of the Denver Post.
All tickets purchased for either game will now be valid for the rescheduled dates, according to the impacted teams.
The schedule shuffling will add at least one additional back-to-back for every impacted team.
The Mavericks and Bucks will now play in Milwaukee on Tuesday, March 31. The Bucks are scheduled to play at the Houston Rockets and the Mavericks are traveling to play the Grizzlies on Wednesday, April 1.
The Nuggets and Grizzlies will move their matchup to Wednesday, March 18. The Nuggets have a home game against the Philadelphia 76ers scheduled the night prior.
The Knicks will play at the Grizzlies on Wednesday, April 1, the day after a scheduled road game against the Rockets.
That will bump the Mavericks at Grizzlies up to Thursday, March 12, the day before the Mavs play the Cleveland Cavaliers at home and the Grizzlies play the Detroit Pistons on the road.
