Dillon Brooks Trolls LeBron James on Live Stream Video, Discusses Trash Talking 'Old' Lakers Star
Zero-time All-Star Dillon Brooks said during a Thursday live stream with Agent that it's easier to talk trash to LeBron James now that he's gotten older, suggesting that James has lost a step.
Brooks and James have quite the history, so it's hardly surprising to hear the former take these type of shots.

It isn't the first time that Brooks has called James old.
"I don't care—he's old. You know what I mean?" he told reporters in April 2023 after the two jawed during Game 2 of a playoff series between Brooks' Memphis Grizzlies and LeBron's Lakers. "I was waiting for that. I was expecting him to do that [in] Game 4, Game 5. He wanted to say something when I got my fourth foul. He should have been saying that earlier on. But I poke bears. I don't respect no one until they come and give me 40."
The Lakers ultimately won the series in six, and after the series win James posted on Instagram, "If you ever see me fighting in the forest with a Grizzly bear, HELP THE BEAR."
The two have had a few notable in-game interactions since, with the rivalry extending to Brooks' time with the Phoenix Suns.
While no one would expect Brooks to back down from James, there is a pretty big gulf between their respective trash-talking credentials, given their career résumés. James is a 21-time All-Star, four-time champion, four-time MVP, 13-time first-team All-NBA selection and has scored the most points in NBA history (42,746).
As for Brooks, well... he was a 2022-23 second-team All-Defensive selection.
And while Brooks is having a career year, averaging 20.5 points, old man James is averaging 22.5 points this season and has never averaged less than the 20.9 points per game he put up during his rookie season.
So, you know, there are levels here. But Brooks is who he is.
