Fresh NBA Trade Rumors on New Names Potentially Available at 2026 Deadline
Several players from the Chicago Bulls, Indiana Pacers and New Orleans Pelicans are reportedly available ahead of the 2026 NBA trade deadline.
According to NBA insider Jake Fischer, Pelicans guards Jordan Poole and Jose Alvarado are among the potential trade candidates. Center Yves Missi has also been targeted by the Pacers and Bulls.
Per Fischer, Chicago is unlikely to part ways with Nikola Vučević on the trade market despite the belief that he'll generate "strong interest" as a future free agent.

Missi is just 21 years old and wrapped up a strong rookie season during his 2024-25 campaign, but has struggled to carve out a role in a Pelicans frontcourt that features Derik Queen and Zion Williamson this year.
The Pacers and Pelicans have an "incomplete deal framework" of a trade that would swap Missi with Indiana guard Bennedict Mathurin, via Fischer.
While Mathurin has averaged a career-high 17.8 points per game on 42.3/36.6/87.6 shooting splits this year, he's currently set to enter restricted free agency during the upcoming offseason.
Indiana could have some concerns regarding a financial commitment to Mathurin given his defensive issues. The Pacers own a minus-10.6 net rating with him on the floor this year, the fourth-lowest mark on the team among players to appear in at least 20 games (via NBA.com).
As for Alvarado and Poole, New Orleans might choose to part ways with them in order to open up an even larger role for 2025 lottery pick Jeremiah Fears. The New York Knicks are a team that has been linked to Alvarado.
The 2026 trade deadline is on Feb. 5 at 3 p.m. ET.
