Latest Knicks Trade Rumors on Active Talks with 'Multiple Teams' amid Losing Streak

The New York Knicks are in active trade talks with teams about dealing big man Guerschon Yabusele, per Stefan Bondy of the New York Post.

Yabusele signed a two-year, $11.3 million contract this offseason with the Knicks, who are 2-9 in their last 11 games. He has averaged 2.9 points on 39.4 percent shooting (31.7 percent from three) and 2.2 rebounds in 9.4 minutes per game over 36 contests.

Yabusele played two NBA seasons for the Boston Celtics in 2017-18 and 2018-19. He then spent the next five years playing in China (Nanjing Monkey Kings), France (LDLC ASVEL) and Spain (Real Madrid).

Yabusele had a great performance for France in the 2024 Summer Olympics, and he used that to land a one-year deal with the Philadelphia 76ers for the 2024-25 season.

He excelled that year, scoring 11.0 points per game on 50.1 percent shooting, 5.6 rebounds and 2.1 assists.

Unfortunately, it hasn't worked out in New York. Given how well the 30-year-old Yabusele played in Philadelphia last season, though, one can guess he can thrive again with a fresh start in another town.
