Jimmy Butler Shares 'General Soreness' Meme in IG Photo After Warriors Confirm Torn ACL Injury

Jimmy Butler is keeping a sense of humor after suffering a season-ending torn ACL in the Golden State Warriors' victory over the Miami Heat on Monday night.

The six-time All-Star posted a "general soreness" meme on his Instagram and wrote he'll "be back before you know it."

Butler's agent, Bernie Lee, confirmed to ESPN's Anthony Slater on Tuesday that the star forward was diagnosed with an ACL tear after undergoing an MRI. The injury occurred in the third quarter against the Heat.

The use of the meme by Butler comes after the NBA recently changed its rules regarding injury designations to get rid of the more vague descriptions, such as "general fatigue" before the league reviews and approves them.

Butler's injury leads to a lot of questions about what the short-term future looks like for the Warriors, who seem to have found a groove with six wins in their last seven games.
