AP College Basketball Poll 2026 Week 11 Rankings Released with Top Risers and Fallers
Unbeaten no more, Iowa State tumbled seven spots in the newest Associated Press Top 25 poll in men's basketball.
Back-to-back defeats will do that. The Cyclones were hammered 84-63 by Kansas last Tuesday and then came up short, 79-70, to Cincinnati on Saturday. T.J. Otzelberger's squad now sits at No. 9.
Arizona, Nebraska and Miami (Ohio) are the only teams in Division I without a loss. The Redhawks finally cracked the Top 25 after improving to 19-0 last week.

Ranked teams losing two games in one week was a somewhat prevalent theme.
Vanderbilt saw its perfect record fall by the wayside when it lost to Texas by 16 points on the road. The Commodores followed that up with another upset, this time at the hands of Florida.
The defending champion Gators are starting to find their footing. They've won eight of their last nine games after starting 5-4.
Florida fell out of the Top 25 earlier this month and has since climbed up to No. 16.
North Carolina is heading in the opposite direction after having suffered three conference losses already. The Tar Heels headed to the West Coast to play Stanford and California and went 0-2.
Hubert Davis' seat might be getting warmer again in Chapel Hill. He watched his team give up 179 points to the Cardinal and Golden Bears, and those teams combined to shoot 53.5 percent from the field.
UNC plays Virginia in Charlottesville on Saturday, and it renews its rivalry with Duke on Feb. 7. The next few week will either turn down the temperature on Davis or ramp up the pressure ahead of the home stretch.
Thanks to Iowa State's results, Arizona further consolidated its position atop the AP poll. The Wildcats claimed all but one of the 61 first-place votes in Week 10, and the gulf between them and the No. 2 team has only grown.
UConn naturally moved up to the second position, but Duke arguably had the strongest Week 10 showing of the one-loss squads hanging around the top five.
Like their Tobacco Road counterparts, the Blue Devils made their Northern California swing, only they beat Cal and Stanford by 45 combined points.
Star freshman Cameron Boozer posted a double-double in each game. He had 21 points and 13 rebounds against the Golden Bears before dropping 30 points and collecting 14 boards against the Cardinal.
Bleacher Report's Jonathan Wasserman has Boozer at second in his 2026 NBA mock draft behind Kansas star Darryn Peterson.
The Jayhawks' wins over Baylor and Iowa State may have helped to firm up Peterson's draft stock amid a bumpy year. The 6'6" guard combined to score 42 points in those outings as well.
Still, Boozer is having the better individual season so far, and NBA talent evaluators will take note.
Also of note, per John Marshall of the Associated Press, this marks the first time that Arizona has been the unanimous No. 1 team in the AP poll in program history.
